This is a super quality vintage 60s era mod style black patent leather coat.  The coat was made in Italy and sold at the Holt Renfrew department store’s boutique in Montreal.  The coat has wonderful styling - six button double breasted closure at the centre with an additional button closure at the left shoulder.  There are two small snap down flapped pockets at either side.  It has a small standing collar.  It is fully lined in black satin rayon.

Label: Made in Italy H.R.’s Boutique.  Holt Renfrew is a Canadian department store that specializes in designer and luxury goods.  They would contract high end European manufacturers to produce items for their own exclusive boutique section of the store.  The fabric label reads “Originale VE-BO”, obviously French, but I cannot find anything about Ve-Bo.

Sizing: Italian size 46 is indicated, and although today this is equivalent to a US size 12 (large), this is a vintage size.  Given the relative rigidity of leather, this should fit a small to medium size, so please rely on the following measurements for fit keeping in mind the style of the piece:

Shoulders:  14 1/4” from seam to seam

Sleeves: 24 1/2” long from the shoulder seam

Sleeve inseam:  16 1/2”

Bust: 36”around, taken under the arms

Waist: 32”around

Hips:  42”, around

Overall length: 45 1/2”, measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition - the lining is a little detached at the cuffs, some minor creasing, really nothing.  Otherwise, clean and wonderful.
